Tomorrow, May 9, Poco will launch its long-awaited F5 series in India. However, the UAE branch of the company has provided us with an advanced glimpse of the phones by making the dedicated product pages live on its website.

According to the advertisement, the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro have a similar design with minor hardware configuration differences. The new Poco F5 series is being marketed as a major launch for the company, as it is anticipated to compete with flagship-level smartphones at a significantly lower price. Poco’s first smartphone, the Poco F1, targeted a comparable market.

The Poco F5 Pro and Poco F5 have been officially listed, and consequently, all the specifications and details, including the chipsets, camera modules, battery, and display, have been disclosed.

Poco F5 Pro

The Poco F5 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 480Hz touch sampling rate. In addition, it has a fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The device is equipped with a 64MP main camera with OIS+EIS support, an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera is equipped with a 16MP sensor, and the phone features a 5,160mAh battery, 67W wired charging, and 30W wireless charging.

Poco F5

The base Poco F5 features a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It features a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone’s battery is 5,000 mAh and supports 67W charging.

Both handsets will feature NFC, IR emitter, Bluetooth 5.3, and Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top. The Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro will offer multiple storage and RAM configurations.
