BOE’s first 17-inch flexible laptop display was a hit during SID Display Week 2023. With up to 6.5 laps and a maximum bend range of 272 mm, the device may unfold from 10 to 17 inches, increasing mobility and size flexibility. BOE introduced the first industry-wide foldable product.
The company’s unique modular structure solution allows the product to be unfurled fully, folded in a “X” pattern, or folded in a “Y” pattern, increasing smart device use in office, creativity, gaming, entertainment, and other settings. BOE showed its industry-leading flexible display with LTPO and tandem technologies. Its peak brightness is 2,000 nits, power consumption is 20% lower, and service life is three to four times longer, giving customers a better OLED experience.
α-MLED image quality excels.
BOE’s chip-on-glass active matrix (COG AM) LED display system and solution α-MLED impressed audiences with its UHD visual quality and rich, lifelike images.
BOE’s industry-leading 163-inch 0.9mm LTPS COG MLED features edge-to-edge display, UHD image quality, and eye care. Edge-to-edge splicing using GIA design and lateral processing technologies enhances seeing.
The eye-friendly display device uses BOE’s patented PAM+PWM mode to produce spectacular, flicker-free visual quality, addressing consumers’ quality and presence needs in studio, home entertainment, and other settings. BOE showed its 4,000-zone 31.5-inch COG AM backlit MLED display.
2,500 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, and a million-level contrast ratio make the product colorful and lifelike. Its 144 Hz/240 Hz refresh rates meet design and gameplay quality standards. BOE’s COG AM MLED devices are mass-produced and used in Lenovo, KONKA, and Skyworth products. BOE has effectively integrated the MLED business ecosystem to boost industry-wide innovation.
Innovative technology enables immersive engagement, opening unlimited possibilities for smart cockpit, glasses-free 3D, and the metaverse.
BOE is working to provide displays with more features and forms to more settings and empower more immersive, interactive applications with revolutionary technologies as smart display becomes increasingly integrated into daily life. Visitors wanted to touch BOE’s booths during SID Display Week 2023.
BOE’s first smart cockpit boasts a 42.2-inch display and 6.94-inch Camera Monitor System (CMS) thanks to world-leading display and AIoT technology. BOE designed the cockpit’s shell, display, PCB, and software independently. A 10K resolution, million-level contrast ratio, and 110% color gamut give bright colors and a great viewing experience.
The instrument panel’s under-display camera has customized and safe smart functions. It uses deep learning AI to reliably identify sleepiness, weariness, and other harmful driver behaviors and display warnings. BOE’s Smart View Control (SVC) technology powers the peek-proof passenger display, and the driver and passenger may decide between privacy and sharing.
The smart cockpit uses under-display vibration control technology for more precise operations, timely feedback, and less screen time for the driver, making travel smarter, safer, and more courteous.
BOE produced an industry-first 15-inch slidable central display that fits nicely into the cockpit and can automatically slide up or down in numerous settings.
