Mortal Kombat 12 may feature Zombie GORO.
The Mortal Kombat universe remains confusing after 30 years, and Goro, one of the most renowned antagonists, appears to be dead.
The in-game Arcade encounters and Goro’s Lair stage show Goro as a decomposing corpse rather than a zombie, with little detail concerning his purported death. Mortal Kombat 12 may alter the timeline, rendering Goro’s death and history unimportant.
NetherRealm must either revive the beloved enemy or introduce him as a “Zombie.”
With the prospective narrative alterations, the incoming title provides a fresh start, and Goro must be included in the new lineup. Goro has only missed one Mortal Kombat game in over a decade.
Since MK11 has 37 characters, fans are excited to see MK12’s lineup.
Mortal Kombat 12 may have vintage Ninjas.
Mortal Kombat ninjas started as a hidden club and palette swaps before becoming fan favorites. Mortal Kombat 11 featured a good lineup, however fans were frustrated that certain major ninjas were not playable. Fans wanted Ermac, Reptile, and Smoke, and Mortal Kombat 12 may deliver.
Ed Boon, NetherRealm’s creative director, tweeted about these characters’ comeback. Fans reviewed Boon’s playlist and hypothesized that certain song titles referenced characters. Purple Rain and The Sylvers’ song were supposed to be references to Rain, the purple-clad ninja, and Smoke, the silver-clad one.
These ninjas provide much-needed variety to Mortal Kombat’s lineup.
Ermac is very harmful in the game. Sektor and Cyrax, who appeared briefly in Mortal Kombat 11, would provide complexity and freshness.
Mortal Kombat 12 should have all the franchise’s ninjas. Fans will anxiously anticipate the game’s character roster and how they are recreated for this new chapter.
