Wipro opened its first US assessment facility, the 5G-Def-i Innovation Center in Austin, Texas. The technology services and consulting firm said the center will offer advanced 5G testing and mission-critical support and demonstrate the company’s commitment to helping clients realize 5G technology’s benefits through safer, more sustainable, and compliant products and services.
The center will use Wipro’s 5G Def-i platform to provide fully integrated 24X7 product qualification, compliance, pre-certification, and interoperability testing with industry accreditation. The cutting-edge facility will replicate real-world circumstances to optimize 5G networks and gadgets.

Wipro engineers and researchers will utilize the center to verify 5G smartphones, tablets, modules, and IoT endpoints meet stringent network accessibility and data performance criteria. The facility will also test 5G mobile network infrastructure for maximum performance.
